Campaign’s Over 50 list returns to spotlight APAC’s most seasoned changemakers

Our second annual Over 50 list celebrates the industry’s accomplished leaders aged 50+, whose lasting impact, team-building instinct and entrepreneurial drive continue to shape media and marcomms across APAC.

It's back! Campaign Asia-Pacific is delighted to reveal its second annual Over 50 list, celebrating marketing and media's most seasoned professionals whose relentless commitment and deep-rooted expertise continue to push our industry to new heights.

Many professionals aged 50 and above retain a unique blend of confidence, strategic perspective and proven capability to make meaningful, lasting change. This isn't easy in a tumultuous industry energised by youth ideals, waves of cultural trends and early adoption of new technologies.

But our Over 50 list winners for 2026 have these traits in spades. As the global brand architects and developers of new startups and technologies, their applied skills and mentor-like leadership continue to inspire new generations coming up behind them.

So, beyond the celebration, this list carries an important message. Campaign Asia-Pacific remains committed to challenging the narratives around ageism. We continue to encounter professionals who wish to avoid age-related references for fear of being stereotyped as slow and out of touch in an industry where no one can afford to be.

Fortunately, this year's winners list counters such narratives. And once again, our list represents a diverse spectrum of the industry, ranging from CMOs and agency executives to creative visionaries, communications experts, trailblazing entrepreneurs and impresarios with impact. Representation came from no fewer than 11 markets across Asia-Pacific: Australia, China, Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Japan, Malaysia, New Zealand, Philippines, Singapore and Sri Lanka. Significantly more men entered submissions than women, though our final list is composed of a roughly 3:2 gender split.

While industry response for this initiative has again been strong, this year's jury, made up of Campaign's senior editors and leadership, have insisted on maintaining a high bar for this recognition. As such, one will notice that our traditionally labelled '50 Over Fifty' list this year has awarded just 37 of this year's total nominations worthy of our 'Over 50' list, reflective of industry-changing or enterprise-wide contributions in the media and marketing communications field.

For those nominees whose names do not appear on this year's list, your contributions are commendable and deeply valued; the overall calibre of entries was very high, as were our expectations. We encourage you to keep adding to future entries with your ongoing achievements.

But without further ado, congratulations to this year's winners, seen here below. We look forward to seeing your continued leadership and ongoing impact.
