Wyeth Pharmaceuticals is hoping to raise awareness of the preventability of the pneumococcal disease among children.

The campaign promotes the use of Prevenar, reportedly the world’s only pneumococcal vaccine, to protect children under the age of two. The commercial starts off in silence, depicting one of the permanent symptoms of deafness brought upon by the disease.
