MediaTV: Simon Sherwood on the future of agencies

In an exclusive interview with Media TV, Simon Sherwood, group CEO, BBH, discusses challenges agencies are facing in this economic climate.

He reiterates that the marketing industry’s business model is “very inefficient” and out of step with other industries as “most clients are challenged with how to maintain quality and take costs out whereas the agency model’s way to maintain and improve quality is to add costs in.”

Sherwood goes on to say the industry needs to address this issue as it is not sustainable.
