Entertainment Lions for Music winners: Cannes Lions 2018

Zero APAC winners in admittedly small category with only 19 awards.

Two Grand Prix were awarded in the Entertainment Lions for Music category this year: Smuggler/Roc Nation New York for the Jay-Z ‘Smile’ music video, and TBWA\Media Arts Lab Los Angeles for the ‘Welcome Home’ campaign for Apple’s Homepod.

In total, judges awarded three Gold Lions, seven Silver Lions and seven Bronze Lions, with no Asia-Pacific winners among them.

The three Gold Lions went to:

  • DDB Germany for ‘The Uncensored Playlist’ campaign for Reporters Without Borders
  • London Alley Los Angeles/Def Jam Recordings/Visionary Music Group for the ‘1-800-273-8255’ campaign for the National Suicide Prevention Hotline
  • Spotify New York for the ‘David Bowie is Here’ campaign
