Tribal DDB won the pitch against a number of undisclosed agencies. Eric Phu, vice-president, Tribal DDB Greater China, said that throughout the pitch process, Wrigley demanded "innovative and creative" work.

The win builds on DDB Group’s existing relationship with Wrigley's, with DDB Guangzhou already responsible for the brand’s above-the-line business. The digital agency will work across Wrigley’s Skittles, Sugus and Tata brands.

Wrigley's is one of Tribal DDB's first clients since it opened its Guangzhou office last week, complementing the group’s existing four offices in Greater China – Shanghai, Beijing, Hong Kong and Taipei.
