Synovate names Ben Llewellyn as MD in Malaysia

KUALA LUMPUR - Synovate has appointed Ben Llewellyn as managing director of its office in Malaysia.

Llewellyn has been acting head of the company's business since the end of April.

Formerly at TNS and Mori in London, Llewellyn joined Synovate in Malaysia in
2003 as research director to work on some of its largest clients and to oversee research projects across all industry sectors.

On the appointment, Brent Stewart, CEO of strategic units and global business planning for Synovate, said: "I'm very confident that Ben's commercial skills and knowledge of the Malaysian market will cement our position in Malaysia as well as form an integral part of our commitment to our business in this key region."

He added: "His local and international experience and his extensive expertise in brand and communications and customer experience is a great asset to our clients' businesses."
