Symantec's MessageLabs appoints XPR for corporate brief

SINGAPORE - MessageLabs, a provider of email, web security and secure IM services, has appointed XPR as its PR consultancy in Singapore following a competitive pitch.

XPR is charged with providing the tech company with support for its local corporate and industry communications.

According to Karen Ho, managing director of XPR, the firm has a 31.7 per cent share of the global hosted messaging security sector.

MessageLabs was acquired by Symantec in October 2008 to expand its leadership position and portfolio in the Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) market.
