PHNOM PENH - River Orchid Cambodia has appointed former GM of TBWA Beijing Anthony Polovineo (pictured) as general manager, effective 1 June.

River Orchid Cambodia appoints GM
Polovineo will be based in Phnom Penh and replaces You H Ang, who recently assumed the role of non-executive chairman of the River Orchid Group in Cambodia.

According to River Orchid account planner and partner Warwick Olds, Polovineo will drive the agency's creative, production and activation initiatives for clients including telco StarCell and KFC.

"Anthony's appointment reinforces our commitment to our clients and the Indochina region, where we are continuing to recruit in growing numbers both senior people with international experience as well as the best of local talent," said River Orchid CEO Santiphong Pimolsaengsuriya.
