Based on Nielsen Media Research, the account is estimated to be worth about US$100 million. It was handed to the agency by the groups' in-house creative agency Innocean after a three-way pitch process that also involved incumbent Shanghai Advertising, and Guangdong Advertising.

Last year in February, MPG China was appointed the media agency of record for the US$125 million Dongfeng Yueda Kia Motors (DYK Motors) account, after a competitive pitch process.
