Magna Global rebrands to Orion Trading

GLOBAL - Magna Global Trading, a subsidiary of Interpublic Group's Mediabrands, has rebranded to become Orion Trading as part of an expansion plan that includes the opening of an office in Australia, its first in Asia-Pacific.

Orion Trading, which functions as a media barter unit, has also opened offices in Brazil, Germany, Mexico and Spain to join its existing operations in New York, London, Los Angeles and Toronto.

Orion Trading will be headed by president and CEO Brian McMahon (pictured), who acted as chairman of The Falcon Group based in London and Hong Kong prior to his time at Magna Global Trading. According to the company, Magna will continue to operate under Mediabrands and will be led by current president Elizabeth Herbst-Brady.
