The first Legoland theme park to open in Asia is set to debut in Johor’s Iskander development region in September.

The business will be run out of Singapore, as the S$296 million theme park prepares to open. The park will feature seven themed areas and will show scale models with its Minilan of the Singapore Flyer, Merlion and One Fullerton.

Thilakavathy Munusamy, director of sales and marketing at Legoland Malaysia, said Mindshare was selected as it grasped the uniqueness of the brand.

She said, “In today’s landscape it’s vital for agencies to stay on top of trends that help brands be effective and cost efficient.”
