HomeAway goes for the gross-out against Airbnb

From The US: 'It’s Your Vacation. Why Share It?', for HomeAway by Saatchi & Saatchi London

HomeAway goes for the gross-out against Airbnb

Without naming Airbnb, HomeAway does a nice job of differentiating itself in this ad. The fact that HomeAway provides access to managed properties and vacation homes, as opposed to people's own homes and apartments, becomes grist for a series of gags based on the perils of staying in a place that's shared. Ad Nut knows plenty of people who have had positive Airbnb experiences, but still feels HomeAway has done a nice job locating a point of difference and communicating it with humour.
