Free HK newspaper Headline Daily launches Sunday e-paper

HONG KONG - Sing Tao News Corporation’s Headline Daily becomes the first free newspaper to launch an electronic version of its Sunday paper.

The Sunday e-paper, which is due to launch this Sunday, will be available at Hkheadline.com, Mob.hkheadline.com and downloadable applications for iPad, iPhone and Nokia.

Besides news and infotainment, the Sunday paper has a strong focus on entertainment, sports and lifestyle news to engage advertisers and Sunday readers. Headline Daily launched its iPad version carrying news and updates from Monday to Saturday only on 14 July.

According to research conducted by Synovate Media Atlas (2009 Q3 to 2010 Q2 report), Headline Daily's readership has hit a new record of 1,612,000.
