Singapore's National Arts Council (NAC) has appointed AKA Asia as its digital marketing agency and Tate Anzur as its PR agency following a competitive pitch that concluded in December 2025.
Under the two-year contract, which runs from April 1, 2026 to March 31, 2028, with an option for a one-year extension, AKA will lead strategy and editorial direction for NAC’s corporate website, EDMs and social media channels. Tate Anzur will handle account management, media monitoring and analysis, as well as PR campaigns for NAC’s programmes and initiatives.
Tate Anzur was first appointed NAC's PR agency in 2020, winning the account after a competitive pitch against six other agencies including Ogilvy, the incumbent at the time. The initial contract was one year with a two-year renewal option.During that tenure, Tate Anzur served as the media contact on marquee NAC programmes including Singapore Art Week, the Cultural Medallion and Young Artist Awards, and the Patron of the Arts.
Several agencies took part in the pitch, including Edelman and IPG DXTRA. AKA’s appointment is valued at US$1.3 million (SG$1.8 million), while Tate Anzur’s contract is worth US$1.7 million (SG$2.4 million).
Sydney-based social agency Jack Nimble has appointed Aja Sandoval as head of production and promoted Kayne Wilkinson to group account director, on the back of winning Samsung Australia's social content and influencer account. She joins the agency, part of Brainlabs via Sparro from prior senior roles at TBWA, Emotive and DDB New York, and will lead and scale its in-house production department. Wilkinson steps up from senior account director, having led the Samsung Australia, American Express, Coles Liquor, Jaycar and Rabobank accounts.
Rohan Mathur has stepped down from The Lego Group after a decade with the toymaker. He joined LEGO in 2016 as senior marketing manager in Singapore, before moving into sales as senior regional sales manager for South Asia. He was appointed marketing director for Southeast Asia in 2019 spanning brand, trade, digital, PR, events and retail, before taking on the expanded India and emerging Asia remit in 2024. Prior to LEGO, Mathur spent close to eight years at Procter & Gamble across brand management and eCommerce roles in APAC, working on Ariel, Pringles and Fabric Care across markets including Thailand, Vietnam, Malaysia and Singapore. He announced the move on LinkedIn.
The Social CliQ has integrated its sister content arm, The Content CliQ, and appointed Isabella Biffi as general manager of the unified group. Biffi steps into the newly created role nearly six years after joining as an intern, having most recently served as head of The Content CliQ.The integration brings social strategy, content creation and influencer marketing under a single structure, with clients including Lululemon, Moose Toys, Dusk, Chupa Chups, Sharpie, Elmer's and Hasbro.
EHL Hospitality Business School has appointed Ellerton & Co. as its agency of record for India, extending an existing partnership the agency has held with the Swiss institution across Southeast Asia since 2020.
German machine needles and precision tools maker Groz-Beckert has appointed MSQ Asia as its global creative agency of record following a competitive pitch. The appointment comes as Groz-Beckert establishes Singapore as its hub for global marketing operations, marking a shift in how the company manages its international brand and marketing activity. As part of the remit, MSQ Asia will develop a new global campaign platform for Groz-Beckert. The work is scheduled to launch globally from 2027.
Hong Kong-based PR agency JIN Communications has won the Café Deco Group PR mandate after a competitive pitch earlier this year. The partnership will require JIN to lead campaigns for Café Deco’s visibility across traditional and digital platforms.
Publicis Groupe Hong Kong has appointed Rhys Turner as its first head of creative technology, effective immediately. The Australian, with 20 years of experience in emerging technologies and creative practice, was previously innovation technologist APAC at Chanel Hong Kong, following a role at T&DA in Sydney and projects in locations including Saudi Arabia, Istanbul, and Shanghai. Turner will work with creative teams to apply AI and innovation for clients, reporting to chief creative officer Christopher Lee and chief executive officer Tom Kao, and joining Publicis Groupe APAC’s Creative Tech Collective.
Bridgit O'Donovan has stepped down as Meta's APAC head of communications, product, and corporate affairs after over four years in the role. Having joined the company nine years ago as Facebook's APAC communications manager in 2017, her departure marks the end of a significant tenure in the region.
Mark Coad, former CEO of IPG Mediabrands and ex-leader of OMD Australia and PHD, has joined independent media agency Hatched as strategic advisor. He will help roll out its AI and automation product to eliminate repetitive tasks, drive business development, and mentor leadership, drawing on his experience with large-scale tech projects and his past role as Media Federation of Australia chair. Hatched, which grew client spend over 40% and headcount nearly 25% in the past year across Melbourne and Sydney, sees Coad as key to refining its tech adoption amid rapid expansion; he also recently joined consultancy 24HRBP.
Dentsu has appointed John Stauffer as practice president, Business Transformation (BX) – International Markets, while he retains his role as chief strategy officer, Merkle Americas. In this expanded position, Stauffer will oversee BX expansion outside Japan, partnering with the dentsu BX Japan team to deliver data-driven, creative, and tech-enabled consulting for sustainable growth. Bringing prior leadership from DEG and Merkle across North America and APAC, he aims to replace outdated "artifactory" models with strategic marketing sciences amid AI and consumer shifts; BX, a decade-old dentsu Japan offering now in 10+ global markets with 100+ professionals, is backed by executives Yuichi Toyoda and Akira Yoshida.
Manulife Philippines has appointed Joy Ann Concepcion as chief marketing officer, adding her to the executive committee. She will oversee brand, advertising, digital platforms, AI, customer experience, and growth marketing to enhance positioning, simplify experiences, and drive sustainable growth. A veteran of the company since 2017 with prior marketing leadership roles, Concepcion was praised by president Rahul Hora for her creativity and execution, as she aims to solidify Manulife as Filipinos' top choice for financial solutions.
Rohan Lund, former CEO of Yahoo7 and COO of Seven West Media and Foxtel, has been appointed CEO of Southern Cross Austereo following its merger with Seven West Media. Lund, who joined the SCA board in February, will now oversee Seven Network, The West Australian newspaper, the Listnr audio platform, and radio networks Triple M and Hit. The role was initially designated for Seven Media CEO Jeff Howard, who stepped down in February 2026.
Publicis Groupe APAC has launched a new AI Development Hub in Singapore, supported by the Singapore Economic Development Board. Building on its acquisition of Lotame and Epsilon’s global data footprint, the hub will embed AI across marketing infrastructure – spanning data, identity, media, and content – and serve as a collaborative base for scaling proprietary technologies across Asia Pacific and globally.
