Diamondbrite taps birds for new push

SINGAPORE - Diamondbrite, a paint protection product, has used images of bird droppings splattered over car bonnets to catch the attention of car owners in Singapore.

Diamondbrite taps birds for new push

In its latest marketing initiative, which was developed by Tequila Singapore and launched to coincide with the opening of its retail outlet in the city-state, bird droppings printed on car stickers were pasted on the cars parked in the central business district and main shopping areas. On the back of the stickers was the message ‘Nothing sticks’, highlighting the product’s ability to protect the paint work.

The car owners possessing the stickers were offered a 10 per cent discount.

This Diamondbrite campaign is a classic example of using alternative applications to tell our brand story, said Marco Corsi, account director at Tequila Singapore.
