DC Shoes' online film of a motocross rider using a converted dirt bike to surf waves has topped this week's chart by a huge margin after racking up more than 1.2 million shares.

1. DC Shoes "Robbie Maddison's pipe dream" by DC Shoes

The spot shows Robbie Maddison, a motocross and stunt rider, sufing giant waves in Tahiti on a dirt bike fitted with skis. Maddison has said the stunt took two years to pull off, including time spent developing the bike.

It was shared 1,299,830 times within the past seven days, more than five times as much as the number two entry and more than the rest of the top ten combined.

2. Lexus: "The Lexus Hoverboard: It’s here" by CHI & Partners

The first of two Lexus ads about its eagerly anticipated hoverboard demonstration in this week's chart. This short film, created by CHI & Partners, shows skateboarder Ross McGouran riding the hoverboard around a purpose-built skate park in Barcelona as Rudimental’s Waiting All Night plays in the background. 

It has been shared 211,843 times in the past week, which for most weeks would have comfortably earned it a top spot in the Viral Chart.

3. ROC "Cristiano Ronaldo in Disguise"

Arguably the world's most talented footballer, Cristiano Ronaldo is filmed while showing off his football skills in disguise in Madrid. Ronaldo is promoting a line of headphones through his own company, ROC Live Life Loud.

It was shared 84,048 times over the past seven days.

4. Always "unstoppable" by Leo Burnett Toronto

Down from number two last week, this ad is the second instalment in the "#LikeAGirl" campaign which aims to increase girls’ confidence.

The documentary-style spot asks young girls what their limitations are and asks them to write them on a large white box. It has been shared 30,864 times in the past week.

5. Google "Google Translate vs. 'La Bamba'"

Google shows off its new smartphone app, which uses the phone's camera to detect foreign language words and then translate them into English. It has gotten 21,865 shares in the last week.

6. EA Sports FIFA "FIFA Ultimate Team ft. Gary Neville & Jamie Carragher" 

Former footballers Jamie Carragher and Gary Neville, known nowadays as a duo of pundits on Sky Sports, test out a new FIFA football game by EA Sports. It includes very little game footage but a lot of dialogue between the former Liverpool and Manchester United players.

It has been shared 19,129 times over the last seven days.

7. Lexus "Lexus Hoverboard - the Story" 

The second of the two Lexus hoverboard ads in this week's chart. Lexus has released a making-of film, showing how they developed the hoverboard. It has been shared 18,488 in the last seven days.

8. Jordan "the dunk to end all dunks"

It's like a scene from the 1996 movie Space Jam, except instead of Michael Jordan, Los Angeles Clippers basketball star Blake Griffin is the one being challenged by Marvin the Martian and his magical ball. Griffin is able to prevail with the help of Jordan Superfly 4 trainers. This was shared 17,305 times.

9. Adidas Football "Man Utd Home Kit 2015/16 – Break Expectations" 

Manchester United have just launched a new football kit, the first one to be produced by Adidas since 1992. This online ad runs with the theme of the club being nicknamed the Red Devils, which is why players are seen hurling tridents amid flaming footballs. It was shared 17,041 times.

10. PlayStation "Mafia III - Worldwide Reveal Trailer"

This computer game on the Sony console features a new protagonist, Lincoln Clay, a mixed race mob leader in 1968 New Orleans. It was shared 14,728 in the last seven days.
