Joining the agency in October, he will be handle key regional accounts with a focus on the Visa business within BBDO/Proximity.

Walker joins from DDB UK where he is now the creative director, having spent the last three years in London.

His appointment reinforces the importance of the BBDO/Proximity Singapore office as a regional Hub for BBDO Asia and follows earlier moves to strengthen BBDO’s management line-up in the region with the appointments of Joel Kuntz as digital creative head and Ho Lian Shi as head of digital.

Jean-Paul Burge, president of SEA and CEO Singapore at BBDO/Proximity, commented on the appointment, “Scott joining us was an easy decision, he is hugely talented, has all the right skills and is a good fit for a team of people that work extremely well together. With him we add to the senior talent across the region and he brings with him skills that will complement and enhance what we offer our clients.”

Walker, meanwhile, added, “I am incredibly honoured to be joining the talented team at BBDO/Proximity Singapore and particularly excited about working with my old friends Danny Searle, Jonathan Teo and the team at Visa – it feels a little like coming home after a long trip away. Great work is build from great relationships with your peers and clients, we certainly have a head start on that.”
