Agency of the Year Awards adopts weighting system

Since the Agency of the Year Awards began 24 years ago, Campaign Asia-Pacific has worked closely with the industry to review and refine the methodology and judging process to ensure fairness, which in turn bolsters the prestige of the awards.

This year, following discussions with PricewaterhouseCoopers and senior industry representatives, Campaign is introducing a weighting system for award wins within specific markets. Because wins at the market level are factored into the Regional and Network categories, this system will better recognise the achievements of agencies who stand out in the region's most competitive markets.

The weighting system is as follows:

Country Gold Silver Bronze
China 10 6 3
Japan 9 5 2.5
Australia 8 4 2
India 7 3 1.5
Others 5 2 1

The deadline for entries to this year's awards is September 29. Please visit aoyawards.com for further information and entry kit.
