Accor Hotels China | Invite a Friend | China

Accor Hotels China has launched an integrated digital campaign through SinoTech Group which gives people the chance to win a trip to Sydney.

Accor Hotels China | Invite a Friend | China
According to CEO and executive chairman Dr Mathew McDougall, the campaign is said to be one of the first and foremost fully-integrated performance marketing that a hotel chain has developed in mainland China.

Titled 'Invite a Friend', site visitors simply register their email for a chance to win two tickets to Sydney for a five days accommodation at the Novotel Sydney On Darling Harbour. By inviting other friends to the lucky draw, one will earn higher chances to win.

Accor Hotels went to SinoTech with an objective to increase brand awareness in China and expand its database. To ensure the campaign targeted the right demographics, SinoTech chose specific search marketing, social media, affiliate marketing and electronic direct marketing outlets in China. Affiliates and online social media portals include Renren.com, P1.cn, 360quan.com and Tianya.cn. The campaign is also promoted through Baidu and Google to drive traffic to the campaign website.

The promotion will last until 31 December, with a second phase of the campaign to launch in the New Year. McDougall said that the advantage of this creative strategy allows clients to directly measure the ROI.
