Hotels.com spots are worth a chuckle, and that's enough

A trio of light and effective ads by Grey Group Singapore.

These three spots for Hotels.com by Grey Group Singapore focus on the universal experience of trying to travel for cheap. It's a simple formula, well executed with some funny touches.

Ad Nut particularly likes that the characters' dialogue is spoken by the narrator, and sort of doubts these spots would be funny without the purposely bad lip-syncing.

Are we supposed to see the wire that pulls open the suitcase in the spot below? If so, Ad Nut doesn't get the joke.
