GIO Insurance | We Cover Details | Australia

Australia-based GIO Insurance promises to pay attention to the smallest details of its customers' lives in a television campaign by Leo Burnett Sydney.

The insurance company appointed Leo Burnett as its creative agency in May. To create a livelier brand image, the ad presents a poetic animated sequence about a day in the life of a meticulous man. Cynical crows form question marks on the roof of a house while the man goes about his business.

Andy Dilallo, ECD of the creative agency explained that it was not often that a long-standing insurance firm is willing to break away from the norm and let the agency to have fun and recreate a “unique voice” for the brand.

“Working closely with Leo Burnett, we have created a campaign platform that captures the mindset of our customers and our approach to insurance,” said executive manager of marketing at GIO Michael Cook. Fussing over details might not be appealing, but GIO’s ‘We cover details’ campaign presents it as a virtue.
