Y&R strengthens China team

SHANGHAI – Y&R China has appointed Amy Luca as business director, and Spens Liu as digital creative director.

Luca previously worked at Agenda, also in Shanghai, alongside clients that included Gap, Johnson & Johnson, Pepsi, Starbucks and Wrigley.

Liu (pictured) is an interactive specialist who has worked at Ogilvy, Saatchi & Saatchi and FCBI. His client portfolio has included HP, Huiyan, Ikea, Lexus, Motorola, RenRen, Starbucks and Sony Ericsson.

Both will report to Charles Sampson, the agency’s chief executive. Sampson described Luca as “a tremendous talent”, and said that Liu was representative of “China’s new breed of digital creative talent”.
