Thai PR firm restructures in line with CSR trend

Five new appointments will see former Bangkok Post journalist and Ogilvy executive Pinit Ngarmpring join the agency as chief strategy officer, and former Toyota, Ford and Hyundai press officer Natee Sastyoungkul take on the role of chief branding officer.

"Although we’ve seen economic stagnation and political instability at home and abroad this year, the PR business in Thailand has shown the potential to continue its growth of 15 per cent," said Danai Chanchaochai (pictured), CEO of DC Consultants.

"Most organisations turn to PR to build the brand, using strategies such as corporate governance and CSR. CSR is something of a trend right now, and I see it developing further."

Other appointments include Ratchada Pasunta as chief communications officer and Pimpakarn Chaisung as chief international business officer. Wit Sittivaekin becomes chief marketing officer.
