The airline will be initiating a multimedia campaign in mid-March to announce this launch and attract early ticket sales.

Mindshare Singapore has been appointed by the airline to take care of its media planning and buying duties.

Mindshare was picked as a preferred partner based on the successful handling of parent company Lufthansa’s media duties over the past five years.

“The digital expertise that Mindshare Singapore has demonstrated in planning for Lufthansa was instrumental in our decision to appoint them as our agency,” said Falko Leonhardt, who is responsible for marketing communications projects intercontinental at the airline. “The Singapore-Zurich sector is an important and exciting new route for Swiss International Air Lines.”

James Campbell, director at Mindshare, said the agency is preparing some innovative launch plans to reflect the airline’s "refined and straightforward excellence".
