Yann Ait Bachir has been named as vice-president of innovation and technology, spearheading the innovation department overlooking all R&D teams, including the Paris stronghold.

He noted the company aims to establish a strong technical excellence team by harvesting local technical experts to support its R&D centre in Paris.

“Our Singapore office is backed by a global network of offices with a 10-year history of delivering advertising solutions,” Bachir said. “The Southeast Asia innovation focus confirms the enormous potential of Asia and the fast paced, continuously developing mobile industry.”

The company has also acquired a Singapore-based mobile ad network, Art of Click, as part of its global expansion strategy and development of the Asia operations. Art of Click founder Emmanuel Allix has been appointed as managing director of Sofialys Asia-Pacific, and concurrently CEO of Aditic.

Based in Singapore, Allix will lead Sofialys' business in the region as well as Aditic globally. He is an APAC board member and vice chairman of the Mobile Marketing Association.

Previously, Allix was APAC managing director at inMobi, responsible for its Asia-Pacific business, as well as leading the GroupM regional mobile practice in Asia.

“Having consulted for Sofialys in Asia-Pacific for six months in parallel to my Art Of Click operations, it became apparent that Art Of Click and Sofialys/Aditic were sharing a similar vision on how mobile ad networks should evolve to meet brands and agencies' needs,” Allix said.

Sofialys has two core business areas, including providing ad solutions to telcos and publishers; as well as its mobile ad network division Aditic.

“Many new innovations were born in Asia," said Mokhtar Bouchelaghem, founder and CEO at Sofialys. "Therefore, we believe that there has never been a better time to bring our innovative solutions to this highly dynamic market."
