Rahul Titus has announced his departure from Ogilvy on October 1, writing on LinkedIn: “After 12 amazing years at WPP, I have decided it’s time for a change.”
He joined Ogilvy from WPP’s Mediacom in 2017 to lead its influence practice across the UK and EMEA, before being promoted to a global role in 2022.
For the past four years, Titus has also served as global influence lead for WPP’s Open X – the global marketing agency launched specifically to service The Coca-Cola Company’s portfolio of brands.
“I’m incredibly proud of what my teams and I have built,” said Titus on LinkedIn. “Today, Ogilvy has 650-plus influencer experts across 30-plus markets.
“We’ve won the Social & Creator Grand Prix at Cannes Lions two years running, pioneered industry-leading initiatives, delivered work we’re proud of, and most importantly, had fun doing it, together.
“The intern who started at Ogilvy Bangalore in India would never have believed this would be his journey at the company.”
He added: “I’ll miss being part of this incredible team, but I’ll be cheering loudly from the sidelines.”
When contacted by PRWeek UK, Titus said he could not yet disclose details of his next role.
He wrote on LinkedIn: “For now, I’m looking forward to some time off… starting with a trek up to Everest Base Camp next week and a few cycling holidays.”
PRWeek has contacted Ogilvy regarding a replacement for the global head of influence role, but had not received a response at the time of publication.
