Ogilv has named Duffy Lau as CEO of its Hong Kong operations, placing both Ogilvy and Grey under her leadership structure.

Lau, previously managing director of Grey Hong Kong, steps into the role with immediate effect. He will oversee people, clients and growth across the group, with a mandate to accelerate both brands while driving closer collaboration between them.

The move comes alongside a broader leadership reshuffle. Sarah-Leith Izzard, currently executive creative director for Ogilvy APAC, has been appointed chief creative officer for the Hong Kong group, while Connie Ho steps up to chief strategy officer at the group level. Both roles extend their remit across Ogilvy and Grey.

“In Hong Kong, Ogilvy and Grey are both powerful brands with strong momentum,” said Chris Reitermann, CEO of Ogilvy Asia Pacific and Greater China and president of WPP Greater China. “We will continue to grow and develop each one, while working more closely across the Group to deliver the full strength of our capabilities to clients.”

Despite the integrated structure, Ogilvy Group maintains that the agencies retain distinct brand identities and client relationships. Operationally, Jason Fashade will lead Ogilvy Advertising Hong Kong as managing director, while Clara Shek continues as president of Ogilvy PR Hong Kong.

“It’s a privilege to step into this position,” said Lau. “I look forward to working with our teams across Ogilvy and Grey to build on a strong and solid creative powerhouse, unlock new opportunities and ensure we continue delivering outstanding work for our clients.”
