Meanwhile the agency said it is expanding Neo@Ogilvy's operations in Shanghai to serve as a hub for performance marketing in China.

Chris Reitermann, president of OgilvyOne Greater China and O&M Shanghai, said Neo@Ogilvy is growing its senior management team following "tremendous" growth in Shanghai over the past year.

Debby Chang, who joins from Bremen Network in Taiwan, is an Ogilvy veteran. She held the position of media group head at Ogilvy & Mather and Mindshare in Taipei between 1996 and 1999, where she supervised media execution and buying strategies for a wide range of clients. She was also one of the early starters at Wwwins as communications planning director, responsible for leading internet marketing programmes for clients.

As general manager, Chang will focus on developing and leading global clients such as UPS and Inter Continental Hotels Group, as well as several local clients and multinational brands such as VF Corporation.

Chang will report to Peony Wu, managing director of Neo@Ogilvy Greater China and chief digital officer of Ogilvy & Mather China.
