The company has appointed its head of innovation and technology, Ernest Custodio, as the new MD. Custodio has been with Harrison from February.

He has previously worked with agencies including Ogilvy & Mather, Dentsu, McCann Worldgroup / MRM Worldwide and Leo Burnett / Arc Worldwide.

“I retire from Harrison still truly, madly, deeply in love with the agency’s increasingly complex craft, the passionate team, and the friendships borne out of partnerships with clients," she said. "I know a fab future awaits.”

Under Arenas' leadership, Harrison Communications achieved a record 30 per cent growth in 2011. The company also ventured into the fast growing digital space and played a pioneering role in the development of content and intellectual property, according to the agency.

Current clients include Universal Robina Corporation, the Philippines' largest snack food company, Globe Telecom's broadband brand, Tatoo, DTC Yellow pages and pharma giant UniLab.
