L'Oreal shifts $6m media to Aegis

KUALA LUMPUR - L'Oreal has shifted its estimated US$6 million media account in Malaysia from Publicis Groupe's Optimedia to Aegis Media, which has set up a separate entity to handle the business up called Media Pi.

Optimedia held the business for 16 months, having won the account from MindShare in March 2007.
 
Margaret Lim, CEO of Carat Malaysia, declined to comment further other than to confirm the setting up of Media Pi to manage the French cosmetic brand’s media buying in Malaysia.
