In his new role, Bhattacharya will be responsible for helping raise JWT Singapore's integrated creative offering, focusing on copywriting. He will work closely with Jun Fukawa, chief creative officer, to lead local and global projects for HSBC and Sunsilk.

Bhattacharya joins the agency from Y&R Dubai, where his work for Stopache 'Splitting headaches' made him the first copywriter from the Middle East to win three Cannes Lions in the same year.

"Bhattacharya has the mindset and the passion to create fully integrated, transmedia ideas and the ability to bring this thinking to our overall creative concept and delivery processes," noted Fukawa.

Meanwhile, Liyu has spent the past three years at JWT Singapore and his promotion to associate creative director will see him add brands in the agency's roster to his portfolio such as the regional account for Sunsilk where he will work closely with Fukawa and Bhattacharya.

"With Minzie's knowledge of the JWT culture coupled with his skill in delivering consistently insightful ideas for our client's brands and Parixit's fresh perspective and copywriting mastery, they are proving to be an integral part of our continued efforts to drive the next generation of new ideas and innovation," said Angus Fraser, managing director at JWT SIngapore
