Hypebeast magazine will be published on a quarterly basis from today. According to a statement from the company, the magazine will offer a more in-depth look at the subjects featured on the site, including comprehensive interviews with industry luminaries and original style features.

In an interview with Campaign Asia-Pacific earlier this year, Hypebeast.com founder and editor-in-chief Kevin Ma described the print magazine, which was then a work in progress, as “a passion project”. He acknowledged that the launch of a print product might seem counter-intuitive for a youth audience, but expected it to be well-received given the scope for more detailed content and the visual nature of many of the brands and products discussed on the site.

The magazine will be published in English and available in major markets globally. Hypebeast.com attracts up to three million unique visitors a month from markets such as North America and Europe as well as Hong Kong, Singapore and Japan.

In Hong Kong, the magazine will be available at major bookstores including Pageone and Bookazine as well as Kapok, Juice, Konzepp, Shine, Adlib and 8FIVE2.
