Draftfcb further strengthens digital talent in Malaysia

KUALA LUMPUR - Draftfcb Malaysia has hired Lay Jian Yi from BBDO Proximity as it moves to further strengthen its integrated creative capabilities in the market.

Lay will move from his position as senior art director at BBDO Proximity in Kuala Lumpur to become head of the digital creative group at Draftfcb Malaysia.

Following the appointment of Maharis Azman from Tribal DDB in February, this marks the agency's second digital creative group head hire in recent months. 

Lay’s client experience includes work on Hotlink/Maxis, Astro, Mars, Visa, Air Asia, BMW/Mini, McDonalds, KFC, Samsung, Microsoft and Honda.

He has also been honoured at a host of awards shows, including Kancils, Direct Marketing Association of Malaysia, AdAsia and the Asia Interactive Awards.
