SHANGHAI - Thought-leaders from across the digital industry gathered in Shanghai yesterday to talk about the development of China's digital landscape and to discuss global trends in digital advertising.

China Digital Media Summit closes in Shanghai

The China Digital Media Summit consisted of four separate panel discussions: the value and commercialisation of digital media; new roles of the players in digital age; online video-sharing websites in China; and social media in China.

"The media industry globally is experiencing challenges and changes globally yet few markets rival the scale and speed of the transformations in China," said Alan Yan, CEO of the summit's cohost AdChina.
