BBDO Proximity Singapore infuses new talent to digital team

SINGAPORE – BBDO/Proximity Singapore has announced four new digital creative recruits to its team, including Richard Tan, Joanne Chow, Jessica Novellia Ng and Jeroel Leyble.

Richard Tan comes on board as interactive designer art director from Ate Media, with his strengths lying in Maya 3D animation software and illustrating skills. He has worked with clients including Discovery/ Samsung, Citibank, StarHub, Vertu, Panasonic, Singapore Tourism Board and Miele throughout the years.

Joanne Chow fills in the position of integrated copywriter who joins the Singapore office after a stint at BBDO Proximity Malaysia. Her client list includes Mini, HP, Drypers, Pepsi, Gillette, Anmum, Toyota, Microsoft and M&Ms.

Meanwhile, two further newcomers are injecting fresh blood to the team, with Jessica Novellia Ng joining as interactive designer and Jeroel Leyble taking on the reins of digital artist/ visualiser. Ng is a graduate of the Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts and took up a summer programme at the Singapore-Massachusettes Institute of Technology Gambit Game Lab.

Leyble’s responsibilities will include working with clients such as SingTel, Fonterra, J&J and P&G.

“It is a key objective of ours to build the best digital team in the market,” explains Jonathan Teo, ECD Singapore, on the firm’s strategy. “It’s a step-by-step process but one that is helped by having one of the best creative reputations and client lists in the market.”
