Little Village Pre School in Singapore and Geometry Global Singapore worked for seven months to develop what they call the Brick Book Learning Kit (Brick Book), which includes Lego bricks and a series of learning activities.
The kit has teaching guides for games designed to hone creativity, develop problem-solving skills and teach basic mathematics to preschool students, according to the companies.
The companies secured public donations of more than 8,000 Lego bricks. The first 20 Brick Books have been shared with 100 students in Myanmar. The preschool hopes to expand to other disadvantaged communities and is calling on the public to donate more unwanted Lego bricks.
