Allan Zeman (LOVEHK): “For the past 48 years, Hong Kong has been the spark that has given me so much joy and so many happy memories. I cannot help but share and spread that joy to the wider community, and #MySparkHK is a meaningful way to do that. Quite simply, I love Hong Kong and, hopefully, that shows in everything I do and say.”

Justin Sweeting (MUSIC ART): Justin Sweeting is a pioneer in sparking Hong Kong’s live music scene and has found much success as the co-founder of the annual Clockenflap Music and Arts Festival.

Charles Mok (FINTECH): There is a lot of excitement in Hong Kong, especially among startups, about the opportunities and challenges of FinTech. To spark Hong Kong’s future as a FinTech hub, lawmaker Charles Mok believes stakeholders from the technology, business, financial and legal sectors need to engage in a dialogue about the future of FinTech, and the policy and regulatory issues surrounding financial innovation.

William Lim (FUNDAMENTAL): Innovative aesthetics, the use of Chinese motifs and an appreciation for the blend of the old and modern are fundamental to the work of acclaimed architect and artist William Lim, whether he is sparking Hong Kong’s architectural industry or its thriving art scene.

Emily Lau (DOMESTIC WORKERS): With more than 320,000 foreign helpers in Hong Kong and the Philippines being one of the city’s main sources of domestic workers, lawmaker Emily Lau seeks to help spark a better relationship between Hong Kong and the Philippines to improve the current employment system and better protect workers’ wellbeing.

Franklin Lam (OUTSIZED): Former Executive Council member Franklin Lam believes Hong Kong, which is situated in the heart of a growth region, has an “Outsized” future ahead of it.

Glendy Chu, Executive Director and Head of Group Strategic Marketing & Communications of DBS Bank (Hong Kong): “Through DBS Hong Kong’s #MySparkHK, we want the people of Hong Kong to celebrate and embrace everything that makes this city a game-changer.”

Kalmond Ma, Executive Director of Make-A-Wish Hong Kong: “The support garnered from the DBS Hong Kong’s #MySparkHK campaign allows Make-A-Wish Hong Kong to grant some of the special wishes of our Wish Children. This will also provide the impetus for our mission delivery by attracting more eligible children to get inspired about their one-true-wish, and to create memories that the children and their families will never forget.”

Singer and actress Stephy Tang contributed “WISH” because she believes that, as long as you have an infinite passion towards life, your dreams can come true.
