Iceland-made vodka Reyka hosts 'encounter' for Asia launch
Reyka Vodka made its debut in Singapore recently with a ‘Reyka Encounter’ interactive launch party that provided an "experiential journey through an Icelandic wonderland inspired by the land of fire and ice that Reyka hails from". The event featured an edible art bar collaboration between Reyka Vodka and Chef Janice Wong of 2am: dessert bar. The vodka, priced between S$200 and S$250, is available at Sauce, Halia at Raffles Hotel, Butter Factory, Bar Naked and 2am: dessertbar. As an invitation, the company sent out a Viewmaster toy with images depicting a whimsical take on how the vodka is made, a process that apparently involves elves.
