KUALA LUMPUR - Universal McCann Malaysia has appointed David Fu as the head of digital.

He will oversee the agency’s digital communications work for brands such as Johnson & Johnson, Coca-Cola and Proton.

“David has a rich and diverse history working in digital communications for media owners such as satellite channel Astro and with digital media intermediaries, such as Innity,” said Universal McCann CEO Prashant Kumar (pictured).

According to Kumar, Universal McCann Kuala Lumpur is in the process of being reorganised to focus on developing “competitive business solutions” for clients. Other structural change at the agency has seen the dismantling of the agency’s digital department and the spread of digital capabilities within the agency’s client teams.
