Top convention and exhibition venues

BEC and WTC Mumbai are two venues offering good facilities for international events

Top convention and exhibition venues

Bombay Exhibition Centre (BEC)was built in 1991. The centre is ideally situated along the Western Express Highway in Goregaon and within a ten-minute drive from the domestic as well as the international airports, and 20 minutes from the heart of the city.

There are numerous hotels within a 15-minute radius, with six of them being five-star quality.

BEC consists of four halls occupying over 40,000 sqm of exhibition space. The halls have ample height, good lighting and are well-designed.

The venue offers seminar and convention halls, international lounges, operational restaurants, open-air cafeterias, business communication centres, site offices, service centres and sufficient parking space all within serene and lush, green surroundings.

Mumbai’s World Trade Centre (WTC) on Cuffe Parade consists of a 156 metre tower and a 106 metre tower. The taller one is MRVDC and the shorter one is IDBI. The venue has a range of conference facilities. The 4th Nutraceutical Summit 2008, India’s leading event of the Nutraceutical industry, was held here from February 21-23. The event attracted over 250 delegates and 100 exhibitors. Education Worldwide India is due to take place at the WTC in November.
