Thais rule TV at AdFest but glory goes to Dentsu

Thai agencies dominated the TV category at this year's Asia Pacific Advertising Festival, or AdFest, taking home six out of eight golds awarded, but lost out on the best of the best which went to Dentsu for Å'Husky Girls' a TVC shot for Ajinomoto Stadium in Tokyo. Japan also landed the best of the best for outdoor as TBWA Tokyo scored with its Å'Impossible Sprint' stunt for Adidas. Thai agency Creative Juice/G1 resoundingly confirmed its reputation as one of the world's leading creative agencies with the festival's biggest haul of metalwork, including ten golds and best of the best in print for its work on Tamiya Assembly Toys. Saatchi & Saatchi Singapore ranked second by awards, including three golds and best of show in direct marketing, for the Singapore Navy's Å'Gear Up!' campaign.
