Y&R Vietnam will launch and manage the Supersports' website and digital marketing.
The appointment was made after a three-agency competitive pitch over six weeks. “Y&R’s creative strength stood out from the first presentation because of its relevant local insight and a sound grasp of the type of online presence Supersports would need,” said Joshua Pycroft, VP international business, CRC. CRC Sports declined to reveal the names of the competing agencies.
“This is a new retail concept in our market, making this both an exciting and challenging assignment and one that plays to our strength of leveraging digital to connect with the emerging Vietnamese urban middle class,” added Matthew Collier, Y&R Vietnam’s CEO.
