Rhodie was most recently the social media director at digital PR agency HotHouse Interactive.

He is a familiar face in Sydney's social media circles as a member of the Digital Citizens committee in Sydney and co-founder of the weekly social media meeting #SHTBOX (Surry Hills Twitter Beer O'Clock Exchange).

Rhodie's previous experience includes working at Zing across clients including Lego, McDonald's, Coca-Cola, Optus and Toshiba and as media manager on the Xbox 360 account for Pulse Communications. He has also worked for tabloid newspaper The Sun as a journalist.

“Rhodie is one of Australia’s most prominent and vocal netizens, and he has great perspectives on how to navigate in the digital world,” said Walter Jennings, general manager of Fleishman-Hillard Sydney.

Fleishman-Hillard is anticipating huge growth in its social media offering in Australia. Rhodie will be part of the digital regional and social media team. He will work closely with Napoleon Biggs, who heads up digital integration across Asia-Pacific for Fleishman-Hillard, based in Hong Kong.
