Gary Hong
Founder
TenSquare – Landmark of Good
Singapore
Gary Hong is an entrepreneur and out-of-home experiential impresario who has consistently redefined how spaces, media, and communities intersect.
His journey began in a family-run car dealership, where he transformed a constraint — limited land — into a global innovation: the world's largest luxury automated car vending machine. The breakthrough attracted international coverage from CNN, BBC, Fortune, and Reuters, positioning Singapore on the global stage for creative engineering and experiential retail.
Building on that momentum, Hong evolved the site into Ten Square, a landmark 3D DOOH media platform at a high-traffic urban junction with over 400,000 daily movements. Under his leadership, the platform has hosted award-winning campaigns and social impact initiatives for organisations including the Red Cross, Singapore Cancer Society, and SG Enable, demonstrating how media infrastructure can drive both commercial and social outcomes.
After turning 50, Hong pivoted from commercial entrepreneurship to ecosystem building. He co-developed PlayPan, a ground-up social experiment that transformed the soon-to-be-demolished Peace Centre into a living laboratory for youth engagement and social innovation. The initiative gained regional media coverage, was referenced in Singapore Parliament, and became a case study by Singapore Management University and Harvard Business Review.
He then launched Glass Dome, a next-generation experiential venue hosting up to 1,000 participants, supporting corporate innovation, youth leadership, and community-led collaborations.
