His global career began as a senior communications executive in a multinational energy firm, managing international communications and serving as a crisis subject matter expert across Singapore, The Hague, and London. Those high-stakes assignments shaped his belief that reputation must be embedded in executive decision-making rather than treated as a downstream activity.
Jabal later founded Pageone Group, transforming it into a reputation-led communications network serving multinational corporations, foreign governments, and multilateral financial institutions across Asia Pacific. Post-50, rather than consolidating, he reimagined the firm's trajectory — repositioning it from a traditional PR agency into a reputation-driven advisory network.
His thought leadership gained international recognition through keynote addresses at professional summits in China and India. He developed the Asia Reputation Quotient, a structured framework linking trust, credibility, and resilience with institutional value. As president of the Reputation Management Association of the Philippines and former president of the Public Relations Society of the Philippines, he strengthened governance mechanisms and elevated ethical codes across the profession.
Jabal also holds a doctorate and has contributed to academic research on reputation governance, bridging the gap between industry practice and scholarly inquiry — a rare combination that has helped redefine how communications is understood across the region.
