Since 2014, Emma Fung has been the operational leader at Branded, a major APAC entertainment and events company. She has helped transform it into a global conference business across APAC, the Middle East, USA, and Europe, delivering events like All That Matters, She Loves Tech, and the award-winning GenZ female festival It's a Girl Thing.

Setting up Branded's Singapore HQ, she scaled the team and led the global YouTube FanFest steering committee, which toured 50 shows, gained over one million subscribers, and generated over US$50 million in ad revenue.

Fung's earlier career saw her launch CNBC Asia's 24-hour news channel and hold regional roles at Bloomberg BusinessWeek and The Asian Wall Street Journal, developing expertise in media distribution, large-scale events, and cross-border partnerships.

Post-50, she drove Branded through its most transformative period. During the global shutdown of live events, she led full operational and financial restructuring, renegotiating contracts and transitioning IPs to digital and hybrid formats within months — preserving over 90% of staff and retaining long-term partnerships. Post-pandemic, she spearheaded the relaunch of flagship properties, returning the business to hosting 3,000-plus delegates and 150-plus speakers per event, while supporting expansion into Japan and the Middle East. In 2023, she primarily managed and delivered the 51% acquisition of Branded by Nodwin Gaming.

She secured and led the enduring partnership with She Loves Tech, the world's largest tech accelerator platform for women, spanning 76 countries and six continents.

To Quote: "What distinguishes Elaine is her ability to integrate purpose with performance. She has consistently demonstrated that sustainability, culinary positioning, loyalty strategy and digital optimisation are not separate pillars, but interconnected levers of growth." -Leanne Robers, Co-founder, She Loves Tech
