MSN names O'Connell to regional role

SINGAPORE - MSN has named Jane O'Connell (pictured) regional director of product planning Asia-Pacific, a newly created role at Microsoft's online services group.

She will be based out of Singapore and report directly to Charles Hauck, director of worldwide planning.

O’Connell was most recently at the ninemsn network in Australia, a joint venture between Microsoft and PBL media, where she helped develop strategy around content and services.
