Herbalife selects Singapore as host city for 2008 awards programme

SINGAPORE Fresh from the success of its 2007 Asia Pacific Extravaganza in July, Herbalife has chosen to host its top-tier global programme, the Herbalife Honors, in Singapore from March 13 to 16, 2008.

This time, the venue will be in the city instead of at Singapore Expo. More than 1,000 of
Herbalife’s top independent distributors from 65 countries in the Americas, Europe and
Asia will gather at Suntec Singapore for the Herbalife Honors event.

Herbalife Honors is an annual programme of celebrations, meetings and recognition.
A highlight is the Mark Hughes Bonus Awards where Herbalife distributes year-end
bonuses to its top achievers.

The total bonus pool eligible for distribution is one per cent of retail sales.

In 2006, the company had retail sales of US$3 billion. This is the fourth time Herbalife has chosen Singapore – previous occasions were the Asia Pacific Extravaganza in 2003 and
this July, and the World Team School 2005 at Singapore Expo.

Explaining the choice of Singapore yet again, Margaret Launzel-Pennes, vice-president,
events and worldwide distributor communications, said: “The Singapore Tourism Board was
instrumental in our decision as they really helped us with venue selection and negotiation,
marketing incentives and initiatives, and a real willingness to ensure our event will go off
flawlessly in Singapore.”
