Hakuhodo sets up new specialist unit in Bangkok

Hakuhodo has launched a new marketing specialist unit, called Asia

Branding & Solutions, in Bangkok.



As a division of Hakuhodo's Global Market Design (MD) Center, Asia

Branding & Solutions supports and collaborates with offices across the

region to handle branding and creative projects for clients.



The specialist unit was set up in response to growing demand by Asean

countries for branding solutions.



Meanwhile, Hakuhodo has also set up a US based online greeting card

company, called SharedGreetings Inc, to provide Internet greeting card

and marketing services.



The second-largest Japanese advertising agency is also considering to

list SharedGreetings on the Nasdaq, possibly as early as 2002.



With a total capital of USdollars 5 million, ShareGreetings aims to

offer a brand new advertising model with the integration of Internet

greeting cards and online prizes.
