SINGAPORE - DBS Bank has awarded its regional media business to PHD, a move that sees the Omnicom media agency join MindShare on the DBS roster.

DBS hands media business to PHD

MindShare will continue to handle the Singapore-based company’s consumer banking business in its home market - the largest portion of the account - but PHD takes control of regional branding projects in markets such as Taiwan, India, Indonesia and Hong Kong.

DBS Bank’s vice-president of group strategic marketing and communications, Rebecca Ang, confirmed the news. She said: “We have appointed PHD as the media agency for selected projects. We do review our partnerships from time to time and PHD has shown that it understands our objectives. We continue to work with MindShare for other projects.”

DBS Bank has the largest consumer banking network in Singapore.
